This 8-week Return to Fitness plan is for any runner who has been injured, or taken extensive time off and now needs to rebuild fitness before incorporating workouts and beginning a race-specific training cycle. Whether you have been off for a month or a year, this is a great plan to follow if you need to steadily and safely rebuild your fitness.

It is tailored based on running experience

  • Novice/Beginner, running 3x per week, up to 30 mins with a long run up to an hour
  • Intermediate, running 3-4x per week, for 30-60mins, with a long run up to 90mins
  • Advanced, running 4-7x per week, for 60mins with a long run of 2 hours
